Well it has finally come- the last city of tour! Daegu, or Colorful Daegu as the websites like to call it. It's honestly a lot like Daejeon with a downtown area almost exactly like Gwangju. So it's fine but we're all just getting antsy to get home at this point.
I'm sad my computer still isn't working... I have a lot of pictures to put up but that will have to wait until I get to Virginia. We got some good ones in the downtown area the other day. Trenton and I also got some Korean pop music! When walking around these shopping areas there are certain songs we always hear. We went into a CD store and just tried humming/singing the parts we knew and then the woman got us 2 CDs she thought we'd like. Big Bang, a popular boy band right now, and the Wonder Girls, the popular girl band.
Korean pop is funny. Just about every song is in Korean except for one tag line in the chorus that's in English. The English tag line is often the title of the song too. So we hear all this Korean and then "Tell me, tell me, t-t-t-t- tell me."
As always, our schedule here is a bit up in the air. There is a discrepancy as to when our last show is here... so we'll see. It's not a big deal, just sort of weird way to end the tour... but I wouldn't expect anything else!
I think that's all for now... nothing really exciting at the moment. A lot of reading and walking around the shopping area at the moment. And Starbucks, always Starbucks. ![]()
