First of all thanks so much for your very nice comments!!
OK the Rocky Mountains, well what should I say that a picture/s can't tell. They are just amazing! Really beautiful scenery with a lot of, sometimes hidden, beautiful spots. I've booked a tour from
Jasper to
Banff and return (2 full days) with the Moose network

. So the first group picked me up in Jasper (ten friendly and relaxed people and the nice tour guide Sara). We stayed overnight in the Athabasca Falls
Hostel, well a place I just can describe it as back to basic. Consists of three cabins, one main building with a record player (great, we had dinner with Chopin), a log fire place and before I forget no running water. The hostel manager Sascha (some people are born for the job) done his best to entertain us with very interesting questions-answer games, songs on the campfire (yes I know how does this sound

) and activities like swimming in the freezing cold Athabasca River behind the hostel. After a convincing conversation, supported by a few drinks, a brave girl and three guys from my tour took on the challenge and went for a swim the next morning (see pictures). Afterwards we've started with our tour and went to all these beautiful places that you'll see in the pictures. The day ended with a relaxing bath in the Banff hot springs and a massive pasta dinner (everyone who's been to the Old Spaghetti Factory know what I'm talking about...).
Charlotte (a lovely lady from
Amsterdam, who is sailing around the world half of the year) and I decided to stay a few days in Banff and we explored the Banff hiking area and had a great time on the Sundance trail, beautiful, quiet and peaceful. A few days and hikes later I've took the tour up to Jasper and this time my group only consist of Justin the Guide, David a 19 year old Irish Boy and the Japanese Buddha Acupressurist Shu. Yep an interesting combination. But we had a very nice and relaxed day. After a night in the Hi Jasper (again a hostel in the forest far away from the town but this time with running water

) it was time to move on. The train ride was quite OK (mainly because I didn't have a neighbour and the seats are comfortable but not as good as in an argentinean 1st class bus

) and finally 16h later I arrived at my next stop
Vancouver!
