malaysia time

As you can see we didnt spend an overly long time in Indonesia but dont worry we are definitely heading back there in a month or so! Not much news to update from Jakarta, though we did have some culinary experiments on a meal out with some new friends. My personal favourite was the Soda susu which was a very very sticky white medicine tasting soda drink..hmmm..but kirsty wasnt overly impressed with her strawberry "bubble tea". Nevermind anyway we made it safely on the potentially dodgey Air Asia flight which seemed to be operated by 13 year old air hostesses in high heels and tight outfits. Fair enough.

We arrived in KL last night at about 2 am, turns out the airport is actually quite a long way from the city. Anyway our 2 pound hostel is actually really nice! The dorm is painted pink woop! We have spent the day investigating KLs extensive transport network, went up the KL tower (impressively the 4th highest telecommunications tower in the world...yes woW!) and we enjoyed a very delightful iced cappucino. life is tough.

We intend to stay another day here then are heading off to the Cameron Highlands to do some tea picking.

KL is hot and humid, thunder is currently rumbling, we are very sweaty bettys.
