Sightseeing in Perth

December 7, 2010 - Perth, Australia

Sheri and I decided to give our feet a bit of a rest yesterday and we took the open top bus tour around Perth.  It was great and enabled us to see all the sights without too much effort.  The only thing was it was a bit cold on the top of the bus and very windy but at least the sun was shining.

The view from King's Park over the city was beautiful and Darren actually took us up there last night and the lights of the city reminded me a bit of the view of Brisbane from the Kangaroo Point cliffs.

We didn't see a lot of the boys yesterday as we were away the whole day and then after dinner we went to watch Darren play softball.  He had the late game so the boys couldn't go as they have school.  It was good fun to watch although it was quiet cold but luckily Sheri had made a stop at Harbour Town Factory Outlet and got some warm clothes.

Today we are heading off to the Zoo with Harry for the day as he doesn't have school.  Looking forward to seeing all the animals and it will be fun to have him with us.

All is quiet here as it is only 6 am, the sun is shining and I got woken with the chickens squawking outside our bedroom window.

I am trying to keep up with photos as best I can and will add a few later.
