We are ready to go

May 25, 2008 - Brisbane, Australia

Well Monday 26th May is finally here.  There were times when it seemed so far away.  Sheri and I are all organised and this morning I am just doing last minute things around the house.  Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything important.  Just been checking the weather radar in Hong Kong and there are a few storms around so hopefully we won't get too wet!

Thank you to everyone who is helping us out with pets etc and for all the good wishes we have received.  I am hoping to access the internet to update this journal as often as we can but can't promise.  Once we are in Scotland it should be a lot easier.

I have added a few photos of a beautiful koala which was at Redlands softball yesterday.  Nice to be able to still see a wild one looking so healthy.

Sorry we missed you. Natashia delivered the car while we were still away and it's still in one piece.

Just to say that the weather here in Scotland is fab at the moment,so here's hoping it holds out for you.Have a fandabidozi trip, you must be so excited.I know I was, when I travelled to Oz to see the koalas.

Great to see Sheri playing last Thursday night.What a buzz to mix and play against an elite team. Now you're travelling, I'm sure the finger will have time to heal without constant impact. I can't believe it's a year since Andrew & I were in Scotland. While the planning seems to take forever, the anticipation and the actual events can be the most exciting times of your trip. Hope the enjoyable travel times are long lasting experiences.

Have a wonderful and safe trip! You won't believe this, but I am in Truro,UK right now - came over at short notice on 16 May because Kate has had an operation and needed care afterwards. I'm flying back on 4 June. Tell you more later....love Rob x
