Well I finally got to see real live pandas - this is what I came to Hong Kong for. They were amazing - just sitting eating their bamboo. I didn't get very good photos as you had to view through glass at low light levels and no flash but some of the video is great. Ocean Park was a strange mix of animal displays, rides and side shows. Yet another giant cable car ride up the side of a mountain. It was a rainy day but we didn't get too wet. There was a fantastic underwater aquarium and a bird show which was worth watching.
Once Mary returned from work we headed out to the streets of Hong Kong to the Mong Kok Ladies Markets. That was an experience. We didn't buy much but it was definitely worth a look. After the markets we went to Victoria Harbour and watched the nightly light and sound show. It was an amazing view of the city with all the building lit up with flashing coloured lights. We took a trip on the famous Star Ferry across the harbour which cost the equivalent of 29 cents Australian.
Sheri was still looking in shops at 10 pm last night and has planned more shopping today. I have a feeling we will be posting a parcel back to Australia before we leave Hong Kong.
It made be a couple of days before my next entry as we fly out of Hong Kong late tonight for London.

Safe travelling!!
