Yesterday we had a restful day. Sheri had a sleep in and although I was up early we just sat around and chatted. It was a rainy day but not enough to keep up from walking into town and having lunch. We visited my niece for a while and then walked along to my brother's flat to see his pet parrot.
It has been good to recharge the batteries after the hectic time in Hong Kong and London. Today we are catching the bus into Edinburgh to meet Toby during his lunch hour and to do some sightseeing.
I went to bed after 11pm last night and it was still light and then the sun was up again a little after 3am. Unbelievable!!
We have managed to sort out a few of the internet problems but still can't get my computer connected so I am having to use Dad's which takes a little getting used to but at least we have a connection.
Thank you to everybody who is leaving comments - it is great to hear from you all. We aren't able to answer everybody individually as time doesn't permit but it is good to know people are keeping up to date.
