About me
About me ... huh... maybe I should ask someone else to write this! Okay, since I hate dinner party questions so much here are a few random facts: I am scared of electric fences and bears (in the wild anyway like in Romania!), my speciality in the kitchen is Pork Ribs, done in a marinade that includes such secret ingredients as my Mum’s blood plum jam and bbq sauce, my favourite music to dance to at a pub is crappy 80’s stuff that everyone knows the words to but no one will admit to owning and I have just fulfilled one life ambition and become a qualified scuba diver. I am addicted to adrenalin highs and if you can jump off it, raft down it, climb it, ride it, or anything else extreme then I’m in. Being a cold frog, I prefer summer to winter, hence my constant hemisphere to hemisphere transfers. Wiley Coyote is the only cartoon character that can make me laugh out loud, I am a compulsive list maker, I own everything Raymond Feist has ever written and I adore the challenge of airline meals- especially as they used to come in those little scooped out trays with everything in its own compartment. I love Monty Python and generally find a Python quote appropriate in all situations, and so shall finish with this summation: “My philosophy, like colour television, is all there in black and white”About my trip
Being an Intrepid Leader it is less my trip and more my schedule, although the journey is all mine! Last year I ran trips through France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Monaco, France, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This year I’ve added Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Ireland and Croatia to the list- so far!Visited countries
