Not dead

April 13, 2007 - York, United Kingdom

Just a quick note to let you all know that we're both still alive. We worked out a brilliant system of writing blog entries on Henry's organiser so that we'd be able to upload them quickly, along with our photos. But it turns out that a lot of youth hostels don't let you plug things into their computers, so our photos and entries are waiting patiently on the organiser, longing for a chance to see the light of day. We'll set them free as soon as we can. In the meantime, we're having fun in chilly York. Can't complain too much about the weather, though - we've been to Bath, Banbury, Oxford and Stratford since we wrote last, and the sun followed us all the way. We've both been fighting colds; I'm pretty much over mine, but Henry's is still giving him a bit of grief. I have been taking my Echinacea every day since we left home, while Henry has not. Make of that what you will.

More soon, hopefully! Love to all.

Echinacea rules, like Britannia. Trip sounds great, brings back all sorts of VERY OLD memories.

Dear Lauren and Henry, Great to hear of your wonderings [or wanderings] hope your colds are on the mend.I have been busy helping my 96 year old sister-in-law move. From upstairs to downstairs, it sounds easy but it took four of us to accomplish this feat!!!! She is now in high dependency, with full care-- and most of her belongings in storage, I have decided to come home and start tidying up. The weather is still warm and no rain, but rain in the north of . Keep in touch love margieAustralia
