Well, this is it, my first entry. Not going to be very exciting guys but at least you'll get the gist.
I have 4 days of work left, if you can call it that...more like 4 days of sitting in front of a computer trying to look busy (Kate, please refrain from adding a comment here). It's actually harder than doing work (again Kate, shut up). It's quite stressful, you have to be on high alert for when people walk past your desk so that you can close down the latest random thing you've found on the internet and the time goes soooo slow.
Actually, you won't believe this but here I am writing my first entry for you guys and I turn around and find two camera men setting up shop right behind me! One man says "Hi there can you just look busy while we film you?" Are you serious? Jacqui, my neighbor starts laughing. It was for some awards preso Sensis is in the running for. How funny.
Anyway....as most of you know, I've quit the corporate life, if you can call it that and am about to jet set out of here. One of the reasons why I've called it quits is summed up quit nicely in the below clip.

The other reason is that I've talked about this for way too long and if I don't do it now I'll drive everyone, myself included crazy. Plus I have so many amazing people to visit now. How could I not?
So I'm counting the days, tying up loose ends, thinking about packing but not because I know I won't be able to take everything. I also just bought some ferry tickets to the Greek islands. Don't worry though, our ferry won't sink. A cruiser just went down last week so the odds are in our favor now (feel better Laurie?).
I'm really looking forward to the adventures, many to be had and I'll try not to start every entry here with you wont believe what just happened I am trying hard to ditch the ditzy clumsiness before I go but I have this bad feeling it's just going to follow me. Oh well, we have more fun together anyway. I know Kate you'll miss it!....writing a lot about you in here, hope that doesn't mean i'll miss you......

Oh, flossy! You so are going to miss me and your unborn cone head nephew. And not like a hole in the head! We can't wait to get our room back and our ears from all the questions you fire constantly. (You may think I know everything...but not yet! Apparently that kicks in after the birth) Anyway, if needed use a fricken 12 guage to shot all the wolverines - like what else would you use? Hang on, this is starting to sound like a goodbye, but it's not...I've still got another 2 weeks of looking at your piehole and answering your inane questions and pretending to like your cooking (only your cookies are good) and; well the list just seems to be coming to me to easily...better stop!

yep, anyway you don t have a choice now : you bought your tickets, you quit your job, your housemates are kicking you out to replace you with a yelling being not even able to do stir fry ( and who won t bring back gossip magazins for at least 15 years)...you ve got to go!!! Mum keeps me informed of your adventures even if you have trouble getting hold of me. I have been playing a lot of golf but not always good golf. I have many people telling me what I am doing wrong. Sound familiar? Hope you are well and looking after yourself? Just come back from the line dancing at the village square at Spannish Springs. That was my scary thing for the day!
