I'm a simple, boring person. I live with my family in Virginia and work part-time in the health care industry. I am a part-time student. I like working odd jobs and get bored easily so I work as a photographer, nanny and pet-sitter on the side. I'm 23 years old, born in Virginia Beach, VA. I find joy in service projects, photography, art, history, traveling, outdoor adventures, children, music, softball, ice hockey, doodling, dancing, roller coasters, karaoke and spending time with good friends and my siblings.About my trip
I am embarking on a 4+ month journey to Europe to work as an au pair. I will be living with a family from Moscow in Nice, France for one month and then traveling to London to live for three months as we await the arrival of the family's second child in late December. I will be caring for the couple's two year old daughter, Sophia.This adventure pretty much fell into my lap unexpectedly but it's an amazing blessing and definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm excited and scared to death as I've never been away from home before. You're only young once though and I have nothing to lose.
