Aya Sofya (Church of Holy Wisdom)

The Aya Sofya was first built as the largest church in the world, and it was until the Ottomon's took it over and turned it into a mosque. All walls were plastered over since faces were not allowed by the Islam. Now work is being done on restoring the old images. I personaly was not too impressed but Janet did really like it.
