Cash - strapped
November 28, 2010 - Puerto Piramides, Argentina
28th Nov The Peninsula has only one main village of about 400 people ,this is where hotels,boats etc reside. It has only one cash point machine which is a constant pain as it runs out of money with all the visitors trying to use it. Most businesses only accept cash ,we have still got dollars which are also OK but its a pain. Went to coast to spot Orcas and failed but did see seals and an armadillo which did not hang around to be photographed! Had our first puncture not sure whether my well...

A Whale of a time!
November 27, 2010 - Puerto Piramides, Argentina
24th-27th Nov Booked into new hotel nice accomodation for two days then changed to near by hotel the place is like a small village on the coast reminds me of Croyde bay , arranged to do an evening whale watch on boat. Large inflatable rib saw first whale in bay and then proceeded to next bay. Anyway have been out whale watching each day for four days and explored the area by car. Seafood fantastic! (apparantly). Have been practicing my Hugh Grant impressions as this is a wow with foreign...
