Finally went to KMart Firle today and bought a desk lamp with the Halogen GU10 globe.  The lamp didn't come with a globe so they discounted it from $17 to $14.98.  I bought a  GU10 LED globe for $15.00.  Now that it is home the light looks bright but this is during the day.  I will check it out tonight to see if adequate illumination. ...
