Well what can you say its very tropical here and we have had at least 3inches of rain today mainly in short sharp bursts, spent the day yesterday out on the great barrier reef its an amazing experience the water clarity is excellent we all had a go at snorkelling its surprising how quick time goes when you have your head in the water following the fish around Karen managed to find and follow a sea turtle, I purchased an underwater camera will have to wait untill the film is developed though...

We arrived in Alice Springs some time early evening on the 19Feb after a very long drive accomadation was a little different it was small two story blocks of rooms the rooms were quite nice although the bathrooms very small, we managed to find time to walk in to town after we had eaten to have a beer in a saloon bar called Bo Jangles you got to see this place to believe it its an outback themed saloon with a live radio station broadcasting to the surrounding area it also has its own web...

Sodelle...sorry dass es so lange gedauert hat, dass wir uns melden...jetzt hab ich aber etwas zeit und internet :-) Angekommen in Cairns waren wir erstmal froh in einem sehr netten Hostel fuer 18$ pro Nacht und nase sehr guenstig untergekommen zu sein. Sogar in einem dreier Zimmer. Ich weiss nciht wie es den Maedels ging, aber ich war sehr gluekclich darueber, dass wir aus dem Loch Alice Springs wieder weg sind. Wir fragten dann sofort den hsotel betreiber ob er arbeit fuer uns haette, doch...
