Meine Lieben in der Heimat, ich hoffe, ihr habt alle die Weihnachtstage gut verbracht und der Weihnachtsmann hat auch schoen an euch gedacht. Nach einer Nacht in Cairns war am 24. Dezember unser Day/Trip nach Cape Tribulation geplant. Wir waren in einem wunderschonenen klaren See schwimmen, sind durch den Regenwald spaziert, haben ein Picknic am Strand gemacht und zu guter Letzt haben wir noch eine Bootstour ueber einen Fluss gemacht, in dem ueber 100 Krokodile leben. Oh man, was fuer ein Chaos! Nach wunderbar entspannenden Weihnachtstagen in Port Douglas (im wirklich tollsten Hostel, in dem wir bis jetzt waren - inklusive Poolhund "Tass") sind wir gestern Abend auf gut Glueck zurueck nach Cairns gefahren, denn wir hatten leider vergessen uns fuer die Nacht ein Quartier zu buchen. I stayed the day at Victoria’s place, processed photos, updated the weblog and enjoyed a few dips in the swimming pool. I took some photos of the golf course and a few in the house. The house is great but strangely build. Once you enter through the front door you are still sort of outside. Wonga Beach to Port Douglas

I started the morning with a walk on the beach in beautiful weather. Talking with one of the inhabitants I got the impression that Wonga beach is a good place to retire.
