Es gibt mal wieder ein paar Neuigkeiten aus DownUnder :) Ab Montag bin ich zwei Tage wöchentlich Praktikantin bei SurfAid International. SurfAid International ist eine NGO, die Entwicklungszusammenarbeit in Indonesien macht. Während des Praktikums werde ich hauptsächlich an einem Bildungsprojekt für Schulen auf den Mentawai Inseln westlich von Sumatra mitarbeiten und jede Menge Datenbanken pflegen. I was pretty excited-anxious-nervous about it.. no idea how hard it was going to be or if the engineers here are normal people or if i had even signed up for the right classes.
