Summer Bay and BNO!

My last few days in Sydney were really fun. Visiting Palm beach, the set for Home and Away, was high on my list of things to do, so I took the two hour bus ride with three other girls to check it out. Walkingonto the beach I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I didn't recognise the place and was convinced we were at the wrong Palm beach or something. Never one to give up, I returned to the hostel and tried again. There were more people around at this point and I even found two other people who don't go to work in the day. The journey from Cambodia to Australia didn't exactly go smoothly. First of all, our tuk tuk driver ran out of gasoline on the way to the airport. Luckily it wasn't too far and he carried the heavy bags. I'd been feeling pretty bummed out that day, I wasn't really looking forward to saying goodbye to Rach and carrying on alone. Final Farewell

We repacked our bags this morning which is something we will have to get used to over the next seven months of living out of a suitcase. The bags were looked after at the hotel while we went over to the cafe where Olly works. It was raining which was probably a fittingly sad way to leave Sydney. The final inspection

This morning we drove back to the flat to meet the real estate agent for the fimal inspection and to hand over the keys. We both think we have seen enough of agents over the past few weeks as the flat has been advertised on the rental market and several times we had to organise our time around inspections and agents who needed keys.
