We've slowly been making our way down the east coast of Australia stopping at a youth hostel in Bellingen, staying at friends in South West Rocks and again at Forster and on the 6th we arrived at the quaint resort beach of Pearl Beach where small waterfront properties are selling for over $2,000,000!!!! It appears we've outrun the storm...

Well I'm back in the city now, which is much better. Am staying at a different hostel now- Just over the road from my other one, but has plug sockets in the room, a bigger kitchen, cheaper rates and is ensuite! Have been up to quite a bit since Rachael arrived.   We've gone whale watching, where I saw quite a few humpback whales migrating north...

G'day!   I've just spent the afternoon at the beach (Coogee beach to be exact) and although I didn’t have the guts to swim, I did paddle up to my knees! It wasn’t too cold! Went to Paddy’s market briefly, known for its bargains (but not really for its quality!) then caught the ferry to Taronga zoo. Gorgeous views of the harbour again, and of the city when we took the cable car up to the entrance of the zoo. I got up close and personal with a koala, tho ur not allowed to touch them (sob!) they are sooooo cute tho!...
