Ketchikan.....Finally!
July 2, 2009 - Prince Rupert, Canada
Writing today’s report is difficult. I’m not quite sure which end of the day I should begin with. Actually, I think I should start with last night so this becomes Prince Rupert, Pt. 2. I walked around Prince Rupert for the better part of the evening, waiting for the fireworks in the land of the midnight sun. By the time it got to be 10 PM, I was getting tired. Since I had a 4:30 wakeup call in the morning, I decided to forget the fireworks and I headed back to the hotel. At the hotel I...

July 1, 2009 - Prince Rupert, Canada
Several weeks ago, as I passed through Jasper, Alberta, sorry it just seems like it was weeks ago, actually it was just last Saturday night.   Once again I’ve had some internet difficulties but here in Prince Rupert, there’s about 5 wireless networks and I just kept clicking on them until I found one to take me to the internet. Last night, I asked the guy at the motel where there was a good café that served breakfast. He said that there was only one and point to a place just up the street. After my internet problems, I decided that I wanted to be shed of Hazelton so I left around 7:30, headed for Terrace and my first DQ stop...

Hazelton, B.C.
June 29, 2009 - Vanderhoof, Canada
Hi Everyone……Tonight I am truly in the backwoods of Canada! Nothing works here. I’ve been trying to get onto this motels “high speed” internet for over an hour. The have a secured system that needs a pass code which the owner gave me. I finally gave up and went back to the office, he then gave me his pass code. His pass code got me on-line but I can’t go anywhere. I can get to the Yahoo home page but that’s it. I went to FuzzyTravel and typed in today’s report only to get...
