Our Projects in Kyabazaala 1. On behalf of Omwaana Ono International (OOI): Bore Hole Well Develop a plan from the village and school for maintenance and security of the well provided by OOI in May 2009 at BLK Muwonge Secondary School. Previously, the water source for this school of 473 kids was a polluted river about 1 km from the school. The well is completed with two final testing stages remaining. Last Wednesday, I attended a bible study. I met up with Cathy, a very friendly Christian girl originally from California, who speaks english, spanish and fluent Korean. haircuts and internet cafes

So I just got my hair cut. I am just waiting for my friend Max, the other foreign teacher, to get his chopped off. While I'm waiting I'm sipping tea and using the internet. Why not? It's right here in the barber shop. My hair is styled after a picture of some guy I found in a catalogue of Asian hairstyles. It was the closest I could find to anything I've had before. Eating out

So at this point it seems I'm either seeing everything through rose-tinted glasses or things are really this good. Other then trying to manage and motivate tired, rebellious Korean children to speak my language, and getting lost in oversized and overcrowded malls where all the signs are in Korean, my experience so far has been positively challenging and enlightening.
