Election Day

Lessons in Humility

Another 30 degrees Celcius Day

Two Months and Counting

The past week presented me with the opportunity to explore Hong Kong’s surrounding islands.  This was due to both the numerous public holidays in October and the ease with which you can travel to the outlying islands.  Wednesday October 1, was National Day, as Hong Kongers celebrated the eleventh anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to Chinese possession.  The celebration was widespread, with Chinese and Hong Kong flags flying everywhere from the mast of small shipping boats, to the roofs...
