Travel time on short notice! haha, woke up this morning and was told I had a half an hour before we left for Macau. Awesome! Macau was pretty chill! We went with Jia's mom and two of her friends. We had to cross customs because, only until recently, Macau was property of Portugal (like Hong Kong was property of Great Britain) and is still a sort of seperate part from mainland China, even though it is part of the country. After a very busy 3 days in Hong Kong, we took a leisurely day trip to Macau with our friend Richard. Richard took us to see a few of the famous casinos in Macau. The most “interesting” one has to be the Venetian. Someone thought it was a good idea to replicate Venice in Macau indoor with fake sky and canals at the footsteps of a casino.
