Nanjing Day 1
July 27, 2009 - Nanjing, China
We went on the city tour and the ming tomb and nanjing museum. At the ming tomb we walk a lot.   My favorite part was the outside corridor which had stone animals.    I  got t o climb ontop of the lion and sit on the elephants foot and hug the standing camels leg, it was sooo cool!  After we had to walk up a huge ramp-ish sidewalk and under it was the emporers tomb. At the museum we saw mostly jade but we also saw brocade being made and  displays and porcelain over 300 years old!
