I have just arrived in Cartagena, Colombia´s romantic city on the carribean coast. After five days on deck, I can still feel the waves and as a result feel a bit ill... oh well. Summer in January

Christmas Time!

School is out for the year (2009)! There were mixed feelings as I said goodbye to the kids. The last two weeks with them has been very hard as they have been anticipating today. Two CRAZY weeks at school have past! Less than one week until the big bike tour, Tierra Dentro. It has been awesome training for this tour and getting to see all parts of amazing Colombia that I never would have otherwise. Last Sunday I chased I wild horse across a mountain ridge! Pasto
September 30, 2009 - Pasto, Colombia
Pasto marked the last town we stayed at in Colombia. It is a really easy town, rarely visited by the ´Gringo´. We found this place a nice break and while it had a few options to see local things (ie a cloud forest lake, and the chance to trek a huge active volcanoe (that has nearly wiped the town many times in its history), we basically did bugger all.
