After leaving Medellin (Colombia), we make our way to Salento (Still in Colombia) - which we had heard really good reviews about. Salento is a lovely, little town in the middle of the coffee valley surrounded by green hills and tropical forests. We stayed at the Plantation House hostel, owned by an Englishman & his Columbian wife, he was an eccentric type who spoke the funniest Spanish we have heard, half Spanish and half English all mixed up.
