February 2, 2011 - Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Today, a real adventure.  We went ashore early a.m. in one of Serenity's tenders - which are absolutely the safest boats in the world as they cannot sink or roll over, even if filled with water.  We are anchored out quite a distance as their harbor is shallow.  We rented a Smart Car and drove around and it started pouring rain, but we weren't as fascinated as with previous islands.  About noon we headed back in a tender which was full... and it was rough.  Amazingly rough !  There were...

The first Stop on my South Pacific Adventure :-)!After a nine hour overnight flight I've arrived at 7am in Rarotonga and was greeted by a Ukulele playing enthusiastic Singer. Next I've received from the custom agent a big smile and a 'Welcome to Paradise'. What a nice welcome to this beautiful Island group! On my way to the hostel I've met Sarah a lovely Canadian Girl from Victoria – Vancouver Island, we've got a long very well and she became my bicycling...
