We walked across an old bridge which serves as the Panama/Costa Rica border carrying our backpacks in the drizzling rain, zipped through the super efficient border control, passports were stamped in record time, and before we knew it we were in Costa Rica. Alright, so here's the low-down on my travels for the past two weeks... Escazú: "officially San Miguel de Escazú, is the capital city of the canton of Escazú in the province of San Jose in Costa Rica. It is also the name of the distrito (district) that includes the city. The district of San Miguel de Escazú covers an area of 4.38 km², and has a population of 13,426." It's a very pretty town... a whole lot smaller and cleaner than San Jose. for my last weekend in costa rica, i decided to go to the Caribbean side of the island.
