St. Patty's Day
March 18, 2010 - Olomouc, Czech Republic
Tuesday we had a tour of the town and got acquainted with our surroundings. It was a cool tour and there were lots of historical facts and big churches and what not...I guess you see one church you see them all, same with statues. It is a very beautiful town and it is almost like a living museum. The streets are cobblestone and all the buildings are extremely old. My first meal in the Czech Republic was Italian food and my second was Chinese, I was hoping for some sauerkraut and dumplings,...

Prague: 11 - 14 Sept.
December 4, 2009 - Prague, Czech Republic
I had heard so much of Prague and its beauty because of its not having been bombed in the Wars and so had a vision of perfectly aligned classical buildings and while the buildings were certainly elegant, I was bowled over by the sheer quantity of gorgeous old architecture. The number of beautiful old buildings throughout the city but especially in the Old Town just kept going on and on. It was only our second taste of a European city after Berlin, but even so, out of all the cities we saw, it...

D71 - 25AUG - Kutna Hora

D70 - 24AUG - Prague
August 24, 2009 - Prague, Czech Republic
D'altres turistes caminen pel Charles Bridge carregat d'estàtues fosques i venedors ambulants i després pugen al majestuós castell a Mala Strana, envoltat d'esglèsies, edificis oficials i uns canvis de guàrdia interminables. Praga és...

D69 - 23AUG - Czech Republic
