 Unbelievably today is our last full day in Egypt before we fly to Jordan tomorrow evening. We arrived in Luxor yesterday lunchtime after travelling up the Nile from Aswan on a felucca from Luxor. Luxor is definitely the most touristy part of Egypt we've been to but the reason for that is that there is so much to see here. Yesterday we went to Karnak Temple, the ruins are impressive.  Meine Kreditkarte habe ich zum Glueck gleich am naechsten Tag wieder bekommen, leider wurden mir jedoch schon am daruaf folgenden Tag 100$ geklaut, aus dem Save im Hostel! Und ueberhaupt versucht hier jeder einen zu betruegen! Die Meinschen scheinen total unfreundlich und sehen einen nur als laufenden Geldautomaten! Das nervt echt. Aber die ganzen Jahrtausende alten Tempel Graeber und Pyramiden sind wirklich unglaublich. Aber auch die kann man leider nicht in Ruhe anschauen weil immer...

The road to Luxor followed the river and the railway northwards, passing a series of small towns and villages. The traffic was the usual eclectic mix of bicycles, donkey carts, local minibuses and small trucks carrying all kinds of produce and livestock.
