Yesterday wasn’t so great. My stomach was giving me problems, so I only ended up eating about 8 crackers all day. I just hung around Agra with a stomach ache until 4:30pm, then went to the train station where I waited around until 6:15pm, then had a crowded, hot train ride until 10pm. The Taj Mahal doesn’t only live up to expectation, it exceeds it! I normally see pictures of the Taj with the pool in front of it, but I think a lot of its beauty and detail gets lost from this shot. Originally we were going to stay 3 nights in Jaipur, but it ended up not being that great of a city, so we only stayed for two nights. We find a cheap hotel near the bus station that has singles for $3. The room is tiny with just a bed, a chair, an end table, and a ceiling fan. No windows and no distractions.
