Today we took a taxi up to Kollam then went on the backwaters (a series of canals/waterways) on a boat which was punted along. After the frantic taxi journey, the calm of the punted boat was most welcome, even if we were accompanied by prayer chanting blasting out of the local mosque. Hi! How are you?
Everything here is going well. I've really enjoyed playing with the kids this week at the Ashram. Last weekend Sarah and I bought a huge supply of watercolours, paint brushes, glitter glue, coloured pencils, felt tips, paper etc etc for the kids and they've absolutely loved it all!
