My relaxing day in Jodhpur was great, and that night I had the best Indian food so far- Paneer Butter Masala in my guesthouse. SO GOOD! The next day Jared and I got a bus ticket to Ajmer. I think the bus wanted to save time by not taking the 5km detour from the main road to go to the Ajmer bus station, so we just got dropped off at the side of the road somewhere. Last night ate good meal on roof of hotel. Sunday it appears is also a festival so more fire works,over city of 1 million, some of which travel horizontally due to their quality,which can be a bit alarming when you are on fourth floor!! Went to red fort today which is very impressive set on its high ramparts.(the wives of the old marahajas on his death had to hold hands and get burnt on his pyre which seemed abit harsh, a bet there was not much up take for the old king wants a new wife party)...

Dave: The group met at 7:45 to get a bus at 8:30 from Agra to Jaipur- 'The Pink City'. The highways were mainly good but the whole trip took 6 hours. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, a desert area of India. After checking in the group met to go see the Hawa Mahal (honeycomb palace).We were then given time to stroll around the city palace area.
