After 48 hours of flights, an 8 hour train trip, and three car rides of various lengths, I am finally here--safe, but without luggage (thank goodness for travel toothbrushes and inexpensive Indian clothing!). I would write more, but Pandri--the Projects Abroad representative responsible for my placement--is waiting for me, and I am about to see...

Heyyy!
Just a quick one today. The day didn't start that well when I swivelled round in my 'hotel' bed, put my feet on the floor and realised I was standing in a pool of a million ants, which by then were climbing up my legs and biting me! Argh! That's what happens when you pay the equivalent of 90 pence for a hotel room!
