Penang - GeorgeTown

 So the last stop in Malaysia was the island of Penang, we stayed in GeorgeTown the biggest city there. GeorgeTown is a really great place with lots to see and do. It has lots see and do not just in GeorgeTown but on the rest of the island. First day we explored the city and came across some very random stuff, we went into atemple to look around and got invited to look in the back, there were lots of older people there playing random games for money one of the guys on a table gave us a seat...

Kota Bharu & Cameron Highlands

Our day in kota Bharu was great we did a tour as most thigs were outside the city and the buses were few and far between. It proved to be the right option as it was a really good day. Firstly we headed towards the Thailand border to see a few thai temples, they were impressive! One of them was the worlds biggest reclining budda the other was a floting dragon! Taman Negara & Perhentian Islands....

The next morning we went on a tour to the Taman Negara national park it was for 3 days and 2 nights but most of the first day was traveling there it wasn't a bad thing as it was a nice drivr then we got an old long boat that sat very low in the water for 2.5 hours so that was good fun. We got there then went to the hostel, we had gone for air con as it was so hot and humid in the rain forest. Malaysia....

Another county and only a 6hr bus ride to KL. Luckly the bus station was quite close to our hostel... it was hot!! We dumped our stuff and straight out to an indian market then to chinatown to the markets there, it was saturday night so very busy! You could see the differance to Singapore a bit more rough and ready! It was good fun though. We got so good advise from the owner of the hostel on where to go and what to see, we got up quite early and got tickets to go up the petronas twin towers...
