Hi all!
We are still surviving and here to write another tale.
We are in Kota Bharu, a midway town in North-Eastern Malaysia that serves as a go between for the mainland and East Coast Peninsula Islands. We headed up this way through Taman Negara (the oldest rainforest in the world). We stayed a couple of nights there, with monsoon-al rains...

We decided to stay in China Town in Kuala Lumpur as it waswhere the cheapest accommodation was and there was a monorail station therewhich was just a couple of stops from the city centre. China Townwas really grimy and smelt really bad too probably because of all the rubbishin the streets and sewers there combined with the boiling hot weather...

So, we have been in KL for 2-days and we are just making arrangements now to header outta here for a little half-way town called Jerantut, that will be our stepping stone to Taman Negara (one of the world's oldest rainforests). We will catch a ferry there tomorrow (unless something goes wrong) and then stay there for a couple of days before...

Hong Kong heb ik echt naar uit gekeken..., maar wat bracht het me ?
Op Hong Kong Airport aangekomen voel je direct het verschil met de binnenlanden van China of in het speciaal Beijing... Het gevoel wordt uiteraard ondersteund door de meer westerse cultuur, waar in oorsprong de Britse Oost-Indische Compagnie tot 1997 de basis voor heeft gelegd....
