Mexico, qué chingón !
February 8, 2010 - Mexico City, Mexico

The. Best. Port.
January 11, 2010 - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Before I even arrived in Cabo, I knew it was going to be a good port.  Erich and I were both scheduled to guide a glass-bottom kayaking and snorkeling tour, his sister had just been to the port and recommended a few places, and we were staying overnight – all things that were going to lead to a good time! We woke up at 7:30am Sunday and got ready to lead our tour.  We met in the theatre to board the tender, and then proceeded ashore (another good thing about this port – the tender...

CABO SAN LUCAS
January 11, 2010 - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
CaBo! cAbO! CABO! Where to begin? Before I even arrived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, I knew it was going to be an amazing port! My sister, having recently celebrated her 30th birthday there, loved Cabo! And seeing how she and I are a lot alike, I figured it was a safe bet that I’d love it too…..and I did! My adventure began the evening prior to docking in Cabo San Lucas when I found out that Nic, Kelsey, and I all got on the #1 excursion we were hoping for – Glass Bottom Kayak &...

ACAPULCO
January 8, 2010 - Acapulco, Mexico
Acapulco, Mexico is the only other port in the itinerary that I have already visited previously. The difference between Acapulco versus the prior repeats (ie: San Juan, St. Thomas) is that I didn’t expect to recognize much of this one. Not because I didn’t have great memories of our family vacation there. On the contrary; the problem was that when we came years ago we stayed at a resort, with anything we wanted to do very close by. Porting there, via cruise ship, is much different. The...

Cliff diving and cloudy weather...
January 8, 2010 - Acapulco, Mexico
So I know it’s been about 30° in Miami, but when you go to Mexico, you expect it to be warmer than 68°.  It’s a little ridiculous!  Actually, the day was an exciting adventure.  Erich, the girls, and I met up with some friends from the destination and boutique teams in the terminal.  We started off by walking out of the pier area as quickly as possible.  If you read the last post, you know how bad the hecklers can be in Mexico.  We strolled along the beachfront sidewalk for about...
