Efter 4 fly, heraf et misset nåde vi til Mexico, Monterrey, Chirstinas hjemby. Vi leger familie ferie og laver mexicansk mad i 10 timer om dagen. Her er vamrt, men Christinas hus har aircon. Og 4 badeværelser. Vi kommer snart hjem. Hav en fest parat. Vores sidste 2 uger på Cuba bliver en fest. Igen

Cuban impressions

I simply cannot get my head around Cuba. The easiest way to explain it is that there are two Cubas: the one that the Cuban residents live in, and the one that the foreigners visit. Rarely do the two merge to a great extent, unless you dig deep and venture off the well-worn tourist path (and avoid the beaches). There are two currencies in Cuba....

I'm back in the world of computers after nearly two weeks in Cuba. Monday was an eventful day for Cubans - for the first time they were legally allowed to access the internet. It was also the first day they could stay in their own hotels and own a mobile phone. Things are definitely changing! There was internet access for international visitors...
