Entered Oaxaca (pronouced Wah-haka) through miles upon miles of unpainted low-grade housing (it is considered untaxable apparently if you haven´t painted, i.e. finished, your house). This didn´t give a very good impression after the nice architecture of the capital but fortunately this was entirely unfounded as the centre of the town (city?) was very nice. Je me trouve en ce moment même tout près de la gare routière d’Oaxaca (le nom exact de la ville étant Oaxaca de Juárez, dans l’état d’Oaxaca), à attendre le bus pour aller à Puerto Escondido, sur la côte.
