Mit unserem „neuen“ Büssli erkundeten wir zuerst den Norden, welcher lange Sandstrände aufweist, perfekte Sonnenauf- und Untergänge bietet ( Björn konnte seine Kamera kaum zurückhalten), steile Klippen mit stahlblauem Wasser – und auf den Strassen jede Menge überfahrener Tiere. Ebenfalls gibt es gigantische Bäume (Kauri), Thermalquellen, Segeltouren durch einsame Buchten und kleine Wanderungen.
