Oft kommt es anders und meistens als man denkt. Nachdem ich mich von der etwas kränkelten Marlene in Christchurch verabschiedet habe, machte ich mich auf den Weg Richtung Wanaka um meine ersten „Woof-Erfahrungen“ zu sammeln. Auf dem Weg dorthin ist eigentlich nichts Unerwartetes passiert außer, dass ich mich auch ein wenig schwach auf den Beinen fühlte. Mit ein paar Tabletten aus meiner Reiseapotheke konnte ich dem ganz gut entgegensteuern. Vielleicht hatte mein Körper einfach nur...

hey hey :] hab den letzten monat ja in melbourne verbracht. war suuper toll.. hab die meiste zeit bei nem couchsurfer in belgrave gewohnt.. und die letzte woche bei micah, bec, daren und tom in north balwyn. war sooo toll :( vermisse alle so! bin dann nach brisbane geflogen. hab joan getroffen, ein paar stunden bevor ich dann nach christchurch geflogen bin ... dort wurd ich abends dann von den customs mind eine stunde lang kontrolliert. aber meine blumen haben sie nich gefunden, die idioten....

Hey, we headed to wine counry next day to martainbough! A really nice place with old buildings and a very relaxed feel! As we arrived we saw there was something going on, it was a sunday so thought it was a village fair! But it was the yearly round the vineyards run/walk... with wine and fruit to taste on the way round! The entry fee was all far the local school! It was a big event, lots of people doing lots of different events 10k run, 10k walk and 21k run! Helen and I opted for the 10k run!...

A short and mountainous drive away is the small lake town of Wanaka which was our next destination. We arrived there and headed straight for Puzzling World, which Ruth had been very excited about since she first read about it in the Rough Guide. We defeated the maze without falling out (which is more than I can say for some of the couples in there!) Wanaka - puzzles and a mountain!

Wanaka is another town situated right by ahuge beautiful lake. We stayed at a camp site the first night so we could allget cleaned up and wash our clothes after the ice climbing. The next day Liamand I headed to puzzle world! John did not fancy it so stayed in the town to goon the internet. It may have been aimed at kids.... but it was still a greatlaugh!
