Thank goodness for tailwinds! I'm pretty sure that for most of the 3 legs of our flight we were being pushed along by the jet stream at close to 100 mph. That took about 2.5 hours off the posted flight times which is quite OK by me.
I'm re-reading Michener's "The Covenant". For those of you not familiar with the book it is about the founding...

We made it. We got off the plane in Johannesburg and there was Terry waiting for us. I don't know if he thought we would ever get here, but finally after years and years of talking about it David and I finally got here.

Leaving Mozambique we managed to cover a fair amount of ground in a short period of time. Vanmorgen hebben we om 7:45 uur ontbeten. Half negen zijn we naar de Cango Wildlife Ranch gereden. Het park was schitterend.
