Dag 18
November 6, 2011 - Stellenbosch, South Africa

Dag 14
November 2, 2011 - Stellenbosch, South Africa

Stellenbosch
May 18, 2009 - Stellenbosch, South Africa
For a change of scene, we took a more northerly route back to Cape Town, at first following the R62, then heading up through the mountains to join the N1. Wine and Whales
November 6, 2008 - Stellenbosch, South Africa
Stellenbosh, one of the main town in the South African winelands is a mixture of Dutch and Provencal charm.  A strange contrast to everything we have seen in Africa so far.  We could undoubtedly spend lost of money here, having long boozy lunches in the many fabulous looking restaurants, which is precisely what Nic did the last time she was here (surprisingly!).  But, unfortunately, we don’t have lots of money to spare, and Nic still isn’t 100% following her suspected malaria (but...

Stellenbosch, South Africa
January 3, 2008 - Stellenbosch, South Africa
Dave: We originally planned on spending three nights on the Garden Route but decided to head back West early so we could have two nights in Stellenbosch, the wine region and University town close to Cape Town. It meant for a lot of driving in a single day but we figured it was worth it (especially Namita, since she wasn't behind the wheel). The weather didn't cooperate for the drive. It rained almost the entire way, sometimes really downpouring. Fortunately, South African drivers are very...
