happy easter!

Easter was beautiful this year in Spain. As usual, it rained all day Friday but Sunday was beautiful. We woke up really early and went to the beach area to watch the processions. Each church in the area walked in the parade, each one featuring a newly risen Jesus. After that a couple of us took the metro over to the famous orchataria daniel. Barcelona

We left for barcelona early monday morning and enjoyed a quick and beautiful bus ride up along the cost. We got to our hotel just to put our stuff down and then headed over to Güell Park designed by Gaudi. It was my first time seing his work and I was totally blown away by his whimsical art and architechture. Not so fast you two!
February 25, 2009 - Valencia, Spain
So we've left Benicassim, where we spent a few days chilling, riding bikes and seeing very little Spanish (the English have invaded and they're all grey haired!) . The place was great and relaxing, but time to see more of Spain. We left just before lunch and thought we'd swing past Valencia on the way south.
