Sa-wat-dee! An update on where we are and have been:We were in Patong for 3 days and did a few pretty cool things there... James and I hired a motorbike and wow, that was definitely an experience! The Thai were absolute maniacs on the road... No road rules whatsoever! (By the way, our travel insurance covered us for it). 10th Found a walk-through from our beach to one on the opposite side of the headland - Loh Moo Dee Bay. True paradise, very few people and someones home/beach bar selling water and other essentials. 7th Arrived at Ko Phi Phi and short boat ride to our beachfront bungalow. Beautiful island of white sand and turquoise water - not yet over-run by tourists. Yesterday I had to get up early after another blurry night, and leave for Phi Phi Don on a longtail boat and then ferry. I had been told by Simon and the guys at my resort in Hat Ton Sai that Long beach was the cheapest and best place to go, so when I got to Phi Phi I went through all the hassle and expense of getting a longtail boat around to Long Beach from Tonsai.
