What we've done for the last four days I could write on a postage stamp!! We are still on Ko Pha Ngan in the same beach hut - it's too nice (and cheap) to leave!! We have been to the beach a few times where we have both done some snorkelling - there wasn't loads and loads down there but there was enough little fish and shrimps to keep me amused for a few hours. Why do scooters always sound like they don't wanna be out - wwwwwhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa. We hired a scooter each today. God dam, it was scary and fun all at the same time. The cost of renting some "death" is a meagre 150baht (3quid) a day. The woman at the shop also sold us some gasoline from old mineral water bottles that were sat in the baking sun - health and safety = health and schmafety!!!! hey, we've finally made it to the islands. one big day of travelling (two flights, a bus, a boat and a taxi) got us where we wanted to be. it is gorgeous! we've got a lovely little wooden bungalow on stilts just by the beach. it's so quiet and peaceful, bliss! we're here for 5 days, gonna get some scooters tomorrow and go exploring. Hi all, Sorry we don't have much to report , we have literally been beach bums all week - which has been great, and so are the tans as well... We were originally supposed to go and stay in a place called Haad Knom at the top of the island in a beachhut for a few more days last Tuesday. We got a ferry over to Phang Ngan so we could go to Half Moon party. The island has 3 monthly parties. The biggest is the Full Moon party which is held on a beach but we needed to be back in Bangkok when that was on so decided to go to the slightly smaller Half Moon party which is held in the town (the other party is the Black Moon party).
