Castles and Castles
October 16, 2010 - Cardiff, United Kingdom
Hello All, It is Saturday afternoon and we have come back from a day of viewing Castles, namely, Castle Coch and Caerphilly Castle. The latter of these is the largest in Wales with a moat and all. :P We've been having fun and Amy has been loading the pictures onto the webpage. All the best and will write soon. R

Dr Who
October 14, 2010 - Cardiff, United Kingdom
Hello All, Went to the Dr Who exhibition today, I was nerdy and Amy let me. We also had some Welshcakes today - mix between a biscuit and a pikelet, very nice. Cardiff is sweet and small and quiet, we feel a little more at home here compared to London, except it is far quieter than Sydney - weird. Cardiff Castle was fun, and very glad we paid £3 extra to have a tour, some very interesting decorations by the Marquess of Bute and his architect. Possibly doing Castles tomorrow. All the best!

Cardiff, Wales - The Home of Dr Who
October 13, 2010 - Cardiff, United Kingdom
So we have made it to The Riverhouse in Cardiff safe and sound. The facilities are very nice and we're grinning at the prospect of a real bathroom, yay! Just getting ourselves oriented with where everything is and how to get around at the moment. Rachael is of course looking forward to all things Doctor Who related (David Tennant of course). Now off to the shops to buy some real food and cook our very own dinner. Take care :)

Mark and I did a bus tour through Gloucester and then to Wales. Gloucester is a small town that had many shops - mainly consisting of bakerys, cake shops, wedding dress shops, and menswear. There were other small stores, but a lot of bridal shops, so go to Gloucester if you want to get married and get  everything on the same road haha. The Cathedral there is where many scenes in Harry Potter were filmed. I was so EXCITEDDD! I updated the albulms so check out the pics if you want. After...

A great day in Cardiff.
September 17, 2007 - Cardiff, United Kingdom
Thoughts from everyone: Two busloads of supporters from our hotel left London for Cardiff at 8.30am Saturday morning, many dressed in green and gold and all very excited about the day to come. As we drove along the M5, many Aussie supporters waved to us from their cars, and at a servo about halfway along the route, we were amazed to see at least 20 busloads en route to the game. What a day it was going to be!! Then Cardiff itself was awash with colour – the red and white of the Welsh...
