Christmas!
December 27, 2009 - Glasgow, United Kingdom
Weather: Snow on the ground! Christmas really isn't the same when you're not at home, but even so, I had a very nice one in Glasgow this year. A couple from Australia I met at one of the nerdy game night parties was having a we're-foreign-and-too-poor-to-go-home Christmas party at their flat, so I went there along with two other Australians and a French guy.  We had a ton of good food, chips, cheese, chocolate, wine--it was awesome!  I liked hearing the Australians' giant spider stories,...

December 3, 2009 - Glasgow, United Kingdom
Take some Dramamine and hop in my bag while we walk to the library (condensed movie--it's really about a 25 minute walk!)  This one didn't turn out so great...the camera kept tilting up apparently so you get a lot of the sky :S but I put in some music to make it bearable.  If anyone likes this idea, I will try to do more, and get a bit better with the camera.  Highlights: Fire truck, the castle which is my school, a fruit stand, the library (skyscraper at the end).Movie was taken around...

Full Moon
November 3, 2009 - Glasgow, United Kingdom
Weather: C O L D and R A I N Y and dark by 4pm. Well, where did I leave off last?  The fire alarm.  Right. Well, since then, there has been all kinds of drama.  Monday night was a Full Moon, and we all know what kind of weirdness that can bring around. The first thing that happened is that I exploded the can opener.  This is one of those old-fashioned hand crank devices, and I was trying to open a can of raviolli for lunch, and it just exploded into about 6 pieces.  So I had to spend...
