Wow - whoever said you cant have it all has obviously never been to South Beach, Miami. Every morning Im woken up by green/yellow and red parakeets kawwing outside the window. Everything you need from a city is ten metres behind you on Collins Ave and Washington Ave and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is just a few feet in front....

Sorry, have to make one more entry....The ice went out on Coon Lake today and some docks are already in. I have had two people correct me already. I will check when I get home, but it seems this must be the latest date of the ice going out.

We spent two nights at the Fort Pierce City Marina, which is a great facility. It is located steps from the historical town and a newly improved water park that has a Farmer's Market every Saturday.
