Aloha Switzerland! Strandleben, Stadtleben, Nachtleben - 3 in 1 in Waikiki ;). E dä letschte zwoi Woche händ mer üs mehrheitlich i dä Sonne brünt, händ bädelet, euse Jacuzzi im Hotel usgnotzt und send ab und zue ufs Surfboard gstande. Met verschiedene Tagesusflüg händ mer s'Fulenzerläbe unterbroche. En Besichtigung vo Pearl Harbour esch ebeso ufem Programm gstande wie en Bsuech em Chinatown z'Honolulu und es paar original HulaHula Tanzuffüehrige während em Honolulu Festival ;)....

Dä Start vo eusem Bsuech vo dä gröschte Insle vo Hawaii esch prägt gsi dorch d'Warterei uf dä Tsunami, wo dänn schlussendli "nor" d'Ostköschte betroffe hät, nöd aber d'Westköschte wo mer eus befunde händ. Trotzdem händ die lokale Behörde vel Vorsicht walte loh, sodass mer dä ganz Tag mehrheitlich met warte verbrocht händ. Am nächschte Tag send mer go s'Dorf aluege, händ e Bierbrauerei bsuech (inkl. Aloha! Nocheme lange, lange Flug send mer erschöpft aber happy in Hawai'i acho. Eusi erschtä paar Täg uf O'ahu (das esch d'Insle, wo Honolulu druf lieht) händ mer met folgende Beschäftigunge verbrocht: - Organisiation vo eusem 3-wöchige Ufenthalt (sprich Onderkönft, Flüg, Auto, Reisefüherer, etc.)- Unskondschafte vo Waikiki und Strand- Kennelärne vo neue Lüüt (thx to Goth and Hari for their support)- Usflog und Wanderig zumene Wasserfall- Erschti Surf-Versüech ;) Waikiki...

Aloha. In Honolulu, auf der Insel Oahu, war es wieder Zeit an meiner Surftechnik zu arbeiten und da gibt es wohl keinen besseren Spot als den berühmt berüchtigten Waikiki-Beach im Süden der Hauptstadt. Auch hier ließ sich schnell ein nettes und sauberes Hostel finden, zwei gemütliche Schweizer Zimmerkameraden inklusive. Mit Oliver, ein Banker aus Zürich, wie könnte es auch anders sein und Thomas ein Steuerungstechniker aus dem Raum Basel habe ich mir auch in den darauf folgenden Tagen...

Hey Hey So after leaving the Kona coast we drove round the North coast of the big island, stopping briefly at the Waipio Valley which wis smart I suppose fae an elevated vantage though we could not be arsed walking doon tae it. But...boo...the East Coast is a flipping rain forest so bye bye lovely Hawaii sunshine and hello noisy frogs.
