Coeur D'Alene, Idaho
September 10, 2012 - Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States
Long hard day of driving for Mike from Yellowstone to Coeur D'Alene, ID.  It was extremely windy and smokey for most of the trip with only a short stop for lunch in Butte, Montana.  Very glad to land in Coeur D'Alene.  I think I actually kissed the ground when we finally stopped.  :-)  We stayed at the OK campground just outside of Coeur D'Alene.

MacCall, ID
September 14, 2010 - MacCall, Idaho, United States
MacCall, ID We broke up the drive from Pasco to Yellowstone by staying at MacCall, ID in a nice condo for a couple of nights. It was your typcial ritzy, nice ski resort town minus the snow, since it was still Summer. It was nice strolling around town and the lake, and we had the best Mexican since getting back at Chapalas. Very reasonably priced with a good menu and delicous, rich flavors. Highly recommended if your travels ever take you through Maccall. We want to go back, there looks to...

Winchester State Park - Yurt
June 25, 2010 - Winchester, Idaho, United States
Beginning of June 2010. 1 night. Approximately $80 per night for yurt with 2 bikes included.  Walk to lake and 'downtown'.  Have the biggest tastiest breakfast at one of the only 2 eateries in town. The pancakes were as big as a hub cap. Forgot name of tavern - will look it up.

Harpster Cabins
June 25, 2010 - Stites, Idaho, United States
June 2010 - $65 per night - On the honor system, leave cash or check upon departure.  Overlooking the Clearwater River. Great river sounds thanks to bridge. Small but clean.  Stayed one night. Fire pit with wood provided - had to chop our own wood - Bob chopped for the first time.  Husband/wife team own.  Husband stopped by to say hello and told us a lot about the area.  Would return.
